Neroccio de' Landi

Italian painter and sculptor of the fifteenth century, belonging to the Sienese school. Trained alongside Francesco di Giorgio Martini, he developed an elegant, refined style in Virgins with Child and female portraits. He is remembered for the delicacy of his figures and the softness of his colouring, characteristic of late Sienese painting.
