Orsola Maddalena Caccia

Italian painter of the seventeenth century, an Ursuline nun and one of the few documented women artists of her time in Piedmont. She is remembered for her religious paintings and, above all, for her still lifes of flowers and fruit, a genre in which she developed a distinctive and well-regarded body of work.
