Orazio Gentileschi
Orazio Gentileschi was an early Baroque Italian painter, a follower of Caravaggesque naturalism, active in Rome, Genoa, France and England. He is remembered for his softly modelled figures and luminous colours, in religious and mythological works that combine tenebrist drama with a sensibility more refined than Caravaggio's.
