Hans Süss von Kulmbach
Hans Süss von Kulmbach was a German Renaissance painter, active mainly in Nuremberg in the early sixteenth century. Trained within Albrecht Dürer's circle, he is remembered for his altarpieces and stained-glass windows on religious themes, which combine the precision of Dürer's draughtsmanship with a distinctive use of colour.
