Félix Vallotton

Swiss-born, naturalised French painter and printmaker, active between the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, associated with the Nabis group. He is remembered for his woodcuts of simplified line and strong contrast, as well as for his landscapes, nudes, and interior scenes in cool tones and precise composition.
