Bicci di Lorenzo

Italian painter of the late Gothic and early Renaissance periods, active in Florence. He continued the family artistic tradition begun by his father, Lorenzo di Bicci, and devoted himself mainly to altarpieces and frescoes of religious subjects for Tuscan churches, in a style still attached to the Gothic tradition.
