Bernardo Cavallino
Italian painter of the Neapolitan Baroque, active in Naples during the first half of the seventeenth century. He is remembered for his compositions of elegant, refined figures, with a luminous palette and delicate treatment of light that distinguish him from the dominant tenebrist tendency of his milieu.
