Andrea di Bartolo

Italian painter (active c. 1389-1428) of the Sienese school, son and collaborator of Bartolo di Fredi. He devoted himself mainly to religious panel painting, with altarpieces and Marian scenes in the late Gothic style characteristic of Siena. His output remained faithful to the pictorial tradition of his city.
